Who is Iron John and Iron Tree Forge?

I am an advanced journeyman artistic blacksmith and knife maker, and pass all the requirements from ABANA the national artist blacksmith association of North America. I have been blacksmithing since I was twelve (1998), studying, as my apprenticeship, for six years in historical iron, tool making, and other historical crafts through Tiller's International in Kalamazoo, MI. In 2004 I went to Penland School of Crafts and studied the artistic side of iron. Starting that same year, through 2009 I spent my summers in New Mexico teaching Blacksmithing, historical crafts, and historical living at Philmont Scout Ranch. From the fall of 2005 through 2008 I studied Fine Art and Metal Working through Lansing Cummunity Collage. My greatest talent is visually thinking through all the skills that my hands have, all the experences that I have seen, and all the "projects" I have completed. You Dream It - I'll Make It!

Iron Tree Forge is my shop that I run in Eaton Rapids, Michigan and the group of artizens that I invite weekly to burn coal and make things.
