Welcome
My name is Iron John Logan, and as long as I can remember I have had a deep love for history and making things with my hands. My life has been filled with researching and practicing historical crafts: blacksmithing, woodworking, and leatherwork. My style is based heavily on pre-20th century tools and beauty in the hearty, untamed American soul. I use reclaimed iron and steel, American hardwoods, and natural leather. One could say I seek to capture a sophisticated primitiveness in my art.
My skills range across many crafts and as a result, I have tried to break these pages into concise genres: blades, historical, black iron - though there may be some overlap. Please look though the entire site and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at ironjohnlogan@gmail.com.
